On Wednesday, August 20, and Thursday, August 21, 2025, B the Local had the honor of co-producing a truly unique event for Eduards Trailer Factory – and what an unforgettable experience it turned out to be!
Over two days, we welcomed more than 175 international guests from across Europe who had traveled to Amsterdam especially to experience Sail 2025 up close. Each day began in style with a lively pre-party on the terrace at Aloha, right on the De Ruijterkade. With live performances by Paul van Gelder (guitar/vocals) and a talented accordionist, the atmosphere was set from the very start.
Day one offered an extra highlight: an intimate dinner aboard the majestic Christian Radich, the famous tall ship once featured in the TV series The Onedin Line. As the DJ and saxophonist filled the night with music, two surprise dancers delivered a vibrant performance that brought the evening to life.
On the second day, guests set sail on the stunning Noorderlicht. Welcomed by an exceptional crew, everyone enjoyed a fantastic voyage. The combination of DJ, saxophonist, and two dazzling dancers who performed three dynamic shows of 15 minutes each made this day just as memorable as the first.
For the guests, it was truly an event to remember and even for us at B the Local, it was an extraordinary experience we are incredibly proud of. Two days filled with music, entertainment, fine dining, and the magic of Sail: this event had it all.
